oh it was a bad loss..As that "players coaching themselves" thing starts to unravel, our loss to them might end up being a bad loss.
less than a minute to go Niang hacks the Baylor player (wasn't even close)...and the ISU Hilton magic gang is yelling BS...as heard on TV...ISU fans are so blind to reality its truly remarkable.
they better hope Morris comes back next year & stays healthy...

I noticed that. Guy was practically assaulted and yet the crowd and even one announcer thought otherwise. You could tell the other announcer was like, "dude, WTF were you watching?"
And proud. Don't forget proud.ISU is so mentally tough and always knows how to finish games.
Um ya.
I had to laugh because I was in my car and heard the play on the radio and the ISU announcers said that play would "never be called in Allen Arena.". They even doubled down after seeing the replay.
No way our loss will be viewed as a bad one. Having said that, 8 or 9 losses for the Clones going into the tourney seems very possible. They have so little depth that pretty much every guy has to be ready to go every minute of the game.
Having said all that, I usually think Scott Drew sucks at coaching, but the switch to the box and 1 against Niang with 8 minutes left totally changed the game. Brilliant move.
I don't either, but plenty of Clone fans keep me up to date. So, yea they are a final four team this year. Even though they lost to Baylor, they are still the better team. Just some issues with defense, but of course that is just a little thing that needs to be cleaned up. I'm sure Coach Niang..er...Prohm will encourage them to play more D despite their awesomeness. Because, they lost to Baylor, but they are better than Baylor of course.I don't watch the Clowns, but I get the impression they are in decline. Do they have a chemistry problem?

I can't wait to see what Peterson writes about this game--not! I swear his articles take up most of the sports section.Way to play defense, Clowns!
Baylor wins at Hilton, 94-89
Didn't iowa score 50 on them in a half?Saw that 60 points in a half and couldn't believe it.
isu is not going to be confused with a defensively minded team anytime soon. But, 60 points in a half? In college ball? That's astonishing.
so what...have quality wins to offset the loss. Hope ISU implodes....As that "players coaching themselves" thing starts to unravel, our loss to them might end up being a bad loss.
How about you obsessed clowns put everything isu in one thread instead of cluttering the Hawkeye board.Way to play defense, Clowns!

Huh? There is one Isu thread in the top 30 messages or so, and well worth it in a weekend where we don't play. How about you obsessed clowns put everything isu in one thread instead of cluttering the Hawkeye board.

Our next loss, you wouldn't have to wait for them.isn't it funny...how all the ISU HR visitors have disappeared. Without anything to defend or a recent Hawkeye loss...its very understandable. I guess they don't come here to just talk hoops.
