ISU recruits...

3 champs and one runner-up, pretty impressive class. The future looks bright but as stated by others we will need to see how they develop. Has the POTENTIAL to be the Iowa/ISU duals of old.
Yep. Kudo's to those boys headed to Ames. Impressive showing on a big stage. Gotta give a little hope to the Cyclone faithful.

If their Folkstyle skills are on par (pun intended) with their Freestyle skills they might be on to something, which I hope is the case. I would very much like to see them relevant again, as I've stated about 1,000 times. Hope that count doesn't get to 2,000.

Add in Gomez as a champ for following class and Danny Vega gets 5th at 120 in current freshman class

I posted the same thing in the Finals thread, but this boggles my mind. KJ has proven over and over that his program does a poor job of developing talent. Everyone has hits and misses, but KJ has a poor track record.

Agree KJ has a poor track record, but don't think he's ever had this level of talent before. Maybe had one guy per class at this level, but 4 Fargo finalists in one class is pretty good. I guess the hope would be these guys push each other and develop.

Expectations would be for a top 10 team in a couple years and top 5 by the time this class is done.

With Downey Harrington Colbray Gremmel there might end up being a pinch at 197 and 285 eventually. Was surprised when Colbray chose ISU

As was I. Harrington has been ugly. I thought he was a sure fire stud. Boy was I wrong.
I could be wrong here but didn't Harrington just beat up on Holloway a couple months back? I would sleep on Harrington just yet

In freestyle. Harrington's college results have been poor. That said, Holloway has done OK but hasn't set the world on fire.

So who wins that match in Folkstyle. I say Harrington. Jmo

Any insight on how they landed these guys? Full rides? Immediate starter opps that they couldn't get elsewhere? Were these guys highly recruited? I'm very surprised to see them land a class like this after the last few years of poor performance.

I'm sure Jamie Pollard will find a way to continue to ruin what used to be a fine program.

Harrington was a big time recruit. Multiple state champ Fargo champ Etc. I'm sure he's close to a full ride. Compared to the expectations he's been extremely poor. With his style I thought he would be extremely successful.

Holloway is average. He does have upside because of his tremendous athletic ability. I doubt he's a walk on. My guess would be he got books.

Will be interesting to see what these guys do in college, for sure.

I didn't think/know Parker and Storr were that good. Gremmel's domination was surprising to me, too.
