I'm a hawk fan, but I hope they do. Good for the state and we beat them.
No, you are not a Hawk fan if you want ISU to go to the final four. It is not "good for the state"....it is good for ISU and hurts the Hawks.
We beat them? Big deal. That is what Clown fans said when they beat us in football and we were going to the Orange Bowl and other New Years Day bowl games.

If they're going to make a run, this will have to be the year. Four senior starters who can all shoot, and all were Hoiberg's guys. Will be a big drop off next year, whether their fans want to admit it or not.

I don't understand why some hawk fans can't believe or understand why some hawk fans cheer for isu also. Heck yes I liked seeing them win the big 12 tourney and 3 out of the last 4. Sorry if offends some of you, but first and foremost I am a die hard hawk, whether you want to believe it or not.

It'll be tough to really make picks for them in their bracket. They are always going to be out-rebounded and undersized so they'll have to do everything else well to win games. An off night shooting will mean they're done. Will have to see who they get matched up with.
Along the same lines, the B12 doesn't do WVU any favors with the way they officiate. Once WVU gets in to the tourney, all the handchecking and contact the B12 ignores gets called in the tourney.

the year Niang got hurt(Morris, Kane, Hogue, Ejim, Niang, Long) , was the year ISU had a legitimate shot at the final 4. this years team is good, but maybe if things fall right it can reach the sweet 16.

Cubs- nice story, what is left to care about in baseball besides "the streak" ending?.....Nothing. Can't hate on that. Never did.
Cyclones- meh. Can always spin positives from little brother's successes and if not then they can go f*** themselves..........................right now they can go f*** themselves.
Patriots- Cheating f***s. Get off my television and go away. All of your franchise. Not just Belicheat and Fraud Brady.
Iowa State could get to the Sweet 16. They could lose in the opening game. All depends on matchups. But they're not a Final Four team, unless college basketball is really f***ing down this year, because this team is nowhere near some of the other teams they had that flamed out in the tournament.
The committee didn't do ISU any favors. Two conf champs - MW and B10. Nevada looks tougher than a 12 seed and Purdue will give ISU a nightmare match up. It's weird that there's 6 B10/B12 teams in that region too...
Purdue has to chase a team that spreads them out. Can they do that with the monster big?
Some teams hardly went up after winning their conference tourney some teams went way up...thought Iowa State would get a 4 and Michigan a 6. Duke with 8 losses at 2 seed!! And looks like 5th overall because gonzaga is 1 seed.
Duke isn't that good, and Iowa Stare might see Kansas in the sweet 16.
