Gonna be the lowest scoring game in the tourney. ISU putting up first half numbers for the whole game.
The good news is Hawks and Cyclones can now unite as Bulldogs for the remainder of the tournament

If you could merge the ISU D with the Iowa O you could have one hell of a team
ISU was vastly overrated. They should not have received a 6 seed. That was a joke.
ISU has two field goals in the second half. That might be a record if it holds.

Good lord Clones, shooting barely 21% overall and 2-20 from 3 is perhaps the worst stat line of all-time for an NCAA game. 23 points in the first half and now 14 second half points with less than 2 minutes to go.

I probably shouldn’t post this, given Iowa’s tournament futility, but I don’t care.
Putrid performance by IA St. They averaged a point per minute the entire game.
Tucker Devries and Bowen Born are about it.
Unfortunately, the MVC may lose both. Tucker will certainly follow his dad if he moves on.
Regarding Born, there is an unsubstantiated (of course, by definition rumors are) rumor on the UNI board that Born will transfer to ISU. They've supposedly been in his ear about transferring for awhile now. Both of his parents are ISU alums, close to Waukee, allows Born to play up a level, and fills some ISU shortfalls (shooting and experienced PG play). The knock has always been his size but he's certainly no smaller than Harding.

I thought it impossible for another team to look worse than Iowa against Auburn. ISU surpassed by a mile.

Maybe for a tourney game, but Iowa had statlines this year of 3-24 in Evansville and 3-28 in Madison the very next game. Both games were the orange Wilson as well.
The rumor started from some nobody Twitter accounts saying Born was going to ISU even before the UNI/Bradley game was even over. It's paranoia from Panther fans because of how easy it is (on paper) for players to get poached or transfer up for one reason or another. Prime example was UNI losing Noah Carter to Missouri, who then started for them. I don't think Born transfers or else he would have probably put his name in the portal by now.
Yeah he’s likely no smaller than Harding, but Brock’s skill coming out of HS is beyond where Born was at that stage. No way I’d trade Harding for Born.
