Why do I have to keep posting it!? The worst game in history. As always, they have 1 game on their schedule. I was with Clones today at a soccer tourney and all they said was they will show up next weekend and if they win the season is a sucess. It is so pathetic and it kills our schedule. The second worst rated team of the power 5.

Fun fact: Northern Iowa now is 3-3 against Iowa State since 2007. The Panthers previously beat Iowa State 24-13 in 2007 and 28-20 in 2013.
Not fun. This game kills our schedule. Why the f do we need to play this horrid team? Fine if they win. It does zero for the Hawks. Lose we suck, win and they are a garbage team. Tired of us keeping them relevant and giving them a sellout every other year.
Unfortunately isu is a Power 5 team and that is what matters. Better than playing another MAC or Sunbelt team.
Agreed. Iowa State is not any worse than a MAC team. My issue is having the game on the schedule every year. But this topic has been discussed endlessly. And it won't change anything.
Regardless, you can bet Iowa State will come in fired up and ready to play. Iowa needs to match their intensity and put them away early. No excuses. If Iowa is the superior team, and I think most reasonably sane people would agree this year there is no doubt they are, then that needs to be demonstrated on the field. Period.
With the new nine game conference schedule, this will probably be our only game against a power 5 school as well out of conference moving forward.
I'd rather play them a home-home once every 10 years due to this and mix up the other years with the likes of Kansas State, Kansas, Colorado, Kentucky, or Louisville.

Meeker from Prairie and jones from CR wash starting as freshman on their oline...jones was suspended but it can't be good to have 2 freshman starting on the oline...they will not be able to run the ball...I'm guessing 3-4 interceptions for the hawk defense. 38-10 Iowa win

Iowa State lost to a good UNI team. They are not strong, but I would imagine there are other awful Power 5 teams, other than KU and ISU.

31-17 last year, does Iowa get to 40 in this year's game?
