I agree that I should have said "80% down the drain"...not just make a blanket statement. But its just my opinion based on tough schedule going forward compared to other teams. It just seems like everything has to go "right"....hawks win out plus relying on other teams losing. To your point...totally possible just makes it very hard IMO.

Iowa had a 7pt lead into 2nd half. It was a winnable game.

I seen Indiana shot 49% overall and 47% from 3pt line. That is not good defense. This is the type of game that teams with good offenses but chitty defenses lose instead of grinding out a win. In retrospect, Fran would have been better off going with a defensive lineup in that long drought that decided the game. PMAC going 0/4 and JoeW going into shell in 2nd half didn't help.

PMac just drives the lane and throws it toward the basket. Which seemed to be a theme tonight.

Maryland won at Illinois and Iowa won at Maryland fairly easily ... it happens.
