FSU, Utah both went down, NW, Wisc, Pitt all won,which should help our schedule strength. If somehow Stanford finds a way to lose at home tonight, it would add an exclamation mark to this near perfect day.. (well Alabama escaped 5-point scare at home from unranked Tennessee...)

Now that OSU has settled their QB controversy, and seemed to find their right guy J.T Barrett. Their offense suddenly is clicking, and the entire team looks like the team most people envisioned at the beginning of the season. I would root for them the rest of the regular season to keep that No. 1 ranking. As long as we play them tough in CCG (doesn't hurt to dream...), Rose Bowl would still be a nice "consolation prize"!!!

Yeah, but Alabama beat (now) 4-loss Tennessee at home by 6, which of course in any other conference = 30. And LSU was leading perennial powerhouse Western Kentucky by 7 midway through the 3rd quarter, also at home before finally pulling away. So they'll probably be 1-2 in the rankings tomorrow....or maybe just promoted to the NFL.
