It only appears that Trump is winning because of how the question was asked

The Republican party is a dumpster fire that can't let go of an overweight narcissist that sexually abuses women. Of all the candidates they could offer, that's the one leading the party. It's mind blowing.
Because none of them have the nuts to call his BS out. And the only one who did got ostracized. So they are more concerned saving their political career versus having integrity

IMO, the GOP continues to cling to the faint hope that the MAGA base will eventually leave Trump on their own, despite all evidence to the contrary.

You'd think this would also persuade them to modify their "winner-take-all" approach to primaries, which was a major factor for Trump in '16 and likely will be next year as well.

Joe biden is a credibly accused rapist whose own daughter said he molested her. Of all the candidates the dems could offer they pick the senile sex offender. Mind blowing.

Lol…no they wouldn’t…they have no shot at a nomination. If the GOP somehow stole it for one of them the MAGAt base would write Trump in assuming he didn’t run as a third party guy.
If they got the nomination. Independents would vote for them over Biden.

No way he wins. No way any Republican wins. I’m telling you, Roe v Wade and Republican states with strict abortion restrictions will see to that.

Name a state with strict abortion laws that will vote for Biden,

But the MAGAs would stay home in droves, which is the majority of the GOP. That would be impossible for any GOP candidate to overcome.

“Conservatives”, and I use that term very loosely, love Trump. Period.
Maybe. I believe that the hate for the left will still bring out MAGA to the polls. They hate Biden.

Insane? That’s hilarious.
The polls cited only asked Republican voters who their most likely choice would be. No poll of all voters which would have included independents.
DeSantis - in a recent poll - head to head vs. Biden - was the winner in the two states polled, Arizona and Kansas, just for starters.
I know that Tallahassee and Leon County are blue and that living in a town where a prevailing opinion can reflect a local mindset that differs elsewhere. Otherwise reasonable and generally nice people can have a different view than the rest of the state.
Currently there are about 470,000 more registered Republicans in the state than there are Democrats. Who those voters finally settle on remains to be seen.
He’s got to get the nomination first you moran!

Arizona. And I’m not saying those states will vote Biden.

All you have to do is look at the midterms. The expected red wave never happened, and that exactly why. Well, that and Trump backed candidates.

Arizonans rejected Kari Lake - like it or not.

Wisconsin. As purple as a state can be. Recent state Supreme Court race was a runaway victory for Dems. Not even competitive.
Heck, even Kansas resoundingly rejected that abortion amendment. North Carolina just rammed thru a strict abortion ban over the Dem governor's veto. Will be interested to see what the ramifications of that will be next year.

Unfortunately at the state level, they have so gerrymandered the districts that the GOP will control things for decades. That and a state crammed full of idiots.

I'm speaking about how this will alter the Presidential election. Wisconsin voted for Biden in 2020.

planet earth? Democrats can't even say what a woman is or that men can't have babies. When you're ready to drop the utter non-sense and have reasonable discussions again... sound a little more like Bill Clinton and little less like a comedy sketch, I'd be happy to join you on planet earth and have real honest debate over policy and progress.

It's crazy that Bill Clinton's policies are closer to Ronald Reagan's than Joe Biden's. That's how whacky the left has gone and how far from reality they've gotten.
Would you describe trump and desantis as espousing whacky right policies?
If not, you are blind and unaware.

I would describe Trump as always doing what's best for Trump, its just every now and then his priorities align with ours.

As far as RDS, I don't see much whacky about trying to protect kids and women. I feel like that's his MO, protect the babies in the womb, protect the kids from the groomers, and protect the women in the bathroom and in the locker room and on the field/court. People went crazy over his handling of covid, but we never had bodies dropping dead in wal-mart or corpse's lying on the beaches.

A few more of those polls where the question was asked to make Trump look like he’s way ahead.

Wow what about Christe? You would think they would at least ask about him.

Doesn't matter. Trump is winning this primary no contest. I think most of the people in this are trying to position themselves for 2028.
He’s at 2.6%.

So, is there a list of “protected people”, or was this all about nothing?

I gave you the list, you're too dumb to comprehend it, that's on you
Yeah, sport. Fug everybody else, right?
You loving this guy suggests lack of big picture awareness.
Ronnie is a hateful, mean spirited person who uses those traits for personal gain.
If you truly look at the people “ he is protecting“ in your post #78, the list of actual victims is minimal compared to legal pharma and legal gun deaths. Minimal.
Why doesn’t he wanna make a real difference in American lives?
