I've said it before and I'll say it again. If you want to stop illegal immigration to the US send the people that hire them to jail. That extends from the CEO of the meat packing plant in Iowa that does a nod and wink at the 11 guys with the same SSN# on their payroll, to the guy that stops at a Home Depot to pick up some day laborers that are hanging around for a roofing job. Send the home owner that does a nod and wink at the lowest bidder of their roofing job to jail for not attempting to find out that all the workers he has hired are not here legally.
I am sure you fellas on the right will approve of this accountability.

Define this please. Not sure I, as an American citizen, have that type of allegiance, but I think it depends on your definition.

Why doesn't this surprise me? What I mean is that half of these illegals come here, they send money back to their home country (as opposed to keeping it in the economy), they fly the flag of their former failed nation, they don't assimilate, they don't learn the language, they demand we change or adjust our culture to meet their needs.

Those that come legally seem to do those things much less, but I'd want verification that they plan on the US to be their primary and only allegiance.

Imagine, for a moment, that your job shipped you to Holland. Would you pledge allegiance to that country's flag because you lived there? Or would you keep your own culture and still root for the US of A? Just because someone moves here doesn't mean they become exactly like you.

The difference is, Holland would benefit if it took on more traits of the US. But back to the point, I just don't feel like having our country turn into Mexico or whatever horrible country they are coming from. If they want to escape, fine. If they want to come here, dry up our resources and live in ways that will turn us into another Mexico, then I have a big problem with that.

Imagine for a minute that every time a neighbor moves away, the government lets squatters come and take over the house. Then another and another, until you're surrounded by squatters that let the houses go to crap. Are you ok with your neighborhood going to $hit because your local government won't follow the laws already on the books?

That might be the only job he's qualified for.

Also, the flag/sending money prohibition both cracked me up. I guess he wants to hold Mexicans to higher standards than multi-national corporations. Perhaps he'd switch his views if the Mexican immigrants hired 1000s of lawyers to circumvent any laws and pay off politicians so that they could send their money back to Mexico?

The only thing that is missing are machine gun nest. This is an invasion after all. You mow down 5,000-10,000 the first month I bet the second month everyone is at the immigration office standing in line like they should be.
