Things were ugly yesterday but think of how fans at LSU, Tennessee, and Ole Miss are feeling today.
LSU has lost by 30 to Mississippi State already and last night at home to Troy. This is a program with loads of talent every year. According to their beat writer, there were only 40,000 still in the stands mid-way through the 3rd quarter. LSU paid Troy nearly $1 million to come there to play. Clearly LSU made a terrible choice in making Orgeron their Head Coach and already their fan base knows he won't make it long term. Just listened to their beat writer on SiriusXM and he's talking about a team who all year has had no discipline, no sense of urgency, all problems.
Tennessee loses 41-0 at home to Georgia. 2 losses already--should have 3, and they barely beat an FCS team at home. Butch Jones either turns it quick or he's gone and then Tennessee looks for their 4th different Head Coach in less than 10 years since they pushed Philip Fulmer out.
Ole Miss has had its program stripped with the Hugh Freeze mess and last night loses 66-3 at Alabama. Nothing looks promising in the near term.
Someone always has it far worse.
