It’s Masters Week. Finally.

If I ever go again, I'm taking a cooler and bringing home several of the egg salad and pimento cheese sandwiches, I know that.

I just picked up a shift Wednesday as we're short staffed with several coworkers attending a medical conference this week. I already have regrets because I'll miss the par 3 contest. Or I'll watch it on the computer.

No way I'm picking up shifts on Thursday/Friday. I had to miss the entire tournament last year for work.

Just snake a tube down her nose and tell them you’ll be there in 4-5 hours.

Been there and it is glorious….it’s a long day so start with the chicken biscuit and coffee in the am. If Sunday, have to wait for the local church to give the ok to start serving beer so go with an American beer, egg and pimento sandwiches. As the afternoon starts, grab a turkey and cheese and beer, then another beer, then another beer before hitting the bathroom and apparel shop at the 16th area. Finish off the day with another beer and the peach ice cream sandwich. And maybe another pimento and egg sandwich for dinner. Great day.

That sounds like a recipe for food poisoning!
As long as you keep them cold. I load the cooler with ice and drive home...right into the fridge. My friend did that the last time we went, took them to his dad who handed them out to his golfing buddies when he watched the opening round. We went during the Wednesday practice round the last time I was there.

I was there the Friday and Saturday Rounds that Zach won. Spent Sunday hungover at the house in Georgia where we stayed watching him battle Tiger. It was perfect. Those hills are a bitch.

I’d say my favorite place to hang out was around 2,3 and 4. You can see a multitude of shots. It’s not very crowded and there’s bleacher’s on 4 tee where you can see them putt on 3 green then walk over and hit the tee shot on the par 3. Concessions to the left of 3 green as well

That’s a good spot.

I also like the grandstands on 15, close to the 16 side. You can see the play on 15 and 16, and there are concessions and restrooms and a nice area to eat with tables all right there.

It’s amazing the set up they have with 16 area with food and apparel as well as course with shots incoming on 15, tee at 16 and approach to the green for possible hole in one, 17 tee off, as well as 6, par three to the left of 16 green. Great spot to watch a lot of golf. It’s like you are walking into an entertainment area that is protected by trees and then another layer of trees.

Do those of you who have been multiple times just have a secret on how to obtain tickets other than just knowing the right people? I’ve struck out on the lottery seven years now.

Don't forget, you drive for show but putt for dough...

No secret that I know of. Won the lottery once. Paid full freight all the other times, but I only go to the practice rounds now, usually Wednesday. Tournament round was a bucket list item, but it's really reserved.

I'll just do a practice round and this place, which is staffed with Georgia and Tech co-eds, and unlimited food, beverage, parking, and shuttle to and from the course; party goes late into the night.
