You’re so right. Iowa played Ohio State better than MSU did and Iowa didn’t play well. Can’t beat 13th seeded team on its third day of playing come on man!
And OSU did not have their best player, Sensebaugh ,today. You’re so right. Iowa played Ohio State better than MSU did and Iowa didn’t play well.
Or when MSU blows a13 point lead in 40 seconds?Where are these threads when MSU wins?
Yep - the same Izzo that lost a 10 point lead with about a minute to go to you know who. Pretty sure this was started in sarcasm by those who are just a bit weary of the "Fire the Coach" for about any reason that can be thought of at the moment but can't take a minute to say anything positive when it's deserved. Is this the same Izzo that has a national championship and 8 final four appearances under his belt?
They were also missing their 2nd best player - Zed Key. I believe he's out for the year. Jesus, with another top 6 or 7 class coming in next year, they are going to be a load and a half. They started 4 true freshmen yesterdayAnd OSU did not have their best player, Sensebaugh ,today.
No problem for buckeyes.
Looks that way.Two threads on this so great. Long and short….B1G is very mediocre this year 2-13, 1 is pretty good but beatable and 14 can upset a team or two. Down year in the B1G.
Keep in mind though, that OSU team is dominated by all true freshman (top 7 or 8 class or thereabouts) and they're starting to come of age and figure things out. I believe they've won 6 out of the last 7.Two threads on this so great. Long and short….B1G is very mediocre this year 2-13, 1 is pretty good but beatable and 14 can upset a team or two. Nope, that's Tom IzzyIs this the same Izzo that has a national championship and 8 final four appearances under his belt?
Maybe the game has passed him by?Is this the same Izzo that has a national championship and 8 final four appearances under his belt?
Seven out of nine now. Holy moly.Six of the first eight games in the BTT have been won by the lesser-seeded team. Given the logjam in the middle of the league this year it's probably not overly surprising. But that has to be some kind of record.
Some people just aren't very smart. You can't possibly be comparing Izzo to Fran.
Please.
Too many low Basketball IQ posters on this board. Not you.Where are these threads when MSU wins?
Good. The last 3 years have honestly been pretty spotty for Tommy Boy. He’s 31-28 overall in the league, barely 500. And they’ve had some head scratching losses, obviously including our game against them this year. Any other coach who lost a 12 pt lead with 90 seconds left would have been crucified. Clearly his overall body of work is undeniable but they’re nowhere near the team they used to be.
and 10 Big Ten regular season titles (and 6 BTT titles)... you know....pretty much the same as an impressive string of consecutive "upper division" finishes. lolIs this the same Izzo that has a national championship and 8 final four appearances under his belt?
Let's see what they do in the tourney. A weak OSU team beating MSU does nothing to put into positive relief Fran's loss to OSU. 'Hey look other teams lose to OSU too!'. So what. IOWA shouldn't have lost to tOSU, as simple as that. Why?
No, just terribly disappointingI think people way underestimated OSU. We should have could have win, but that wasn’t a terrible loss.
I wouldn't call OSU "weak" as they're very young and starting to come into their own late in the season. I do believe their run comes to an end today though as they don't have a solution for Edey.A weak OSU team beating MSU does nothing to put into positive relief Fran's loss to OSU. And is a guaranteed HOF coach whenever he retires? Some of these threads are so dumb.Is this the same Izzo that has a national championship and 8 final four appearances under his belt?
Sensabaugh will probably be gone hes already projected as a late lottery. They were also missing their 2nd best player - Zed Key. I believe he's out for the year. Jesus, with another top 6 or 7 class coming in next year, they are going to be a load and a half. They started 4 true freshmen yesterday
