The NFL is crazy. Teams looking for QBs every year, like the Bears, yet CJ never gets a shot. The only time he got any serious playing time was several years ago with the 49ers when they were bad and had the worst OL in the league. But whenever CJ has played, he's shown what he can do. Again, there is so much luck involved . . . like getting with the right team at the right time. If Tom Brady's career had started with that old 49ers outfit, he probably would have been outta the league. Same with Mahomes.

I'll be pretty surprised is CJ doesn't catch on with another organization. He's one of my favorite Iowa QBs. He was super talented and super tough. He deserved better in the NFL.

CJ had a groin injury in one of the games and didn't take a snap afterwards. Gotta think he'll land somewhere if the injury heals.

CJ is on a few GM lists, I guarantee it. Maybe not right away but he will get the call soon enough.

With McCarthy injured, I hope the Vikings give him a shot. I don't think that Darnold is the answer.
