Sugar free Bubble Yum.What brand does he chew? Has to go through a tub per week at that rate.
You must not have watched ISU vs UNI. Iowa should curb stomp the Clones with or without Daniels.Very nervous about this game now.
Iowa had no time to prepare with him out. Hesse out and no depth at DE. I've seen this horror movie before.
Because Iowa NEVER EVER cycles the second team guys in with the first team guys during practice, right? There will be a first time starter who hasn't had time to prepare with the ones
They actually played the run well until they got worn down. It was their offense that was the problem but Iowas defense was pretty bad the first game as wellYou must not have watched ISU vs UNI. Iowa should curb stomp the Clones with or without Daniels.
UNI an FCS school averaged 4 yards per carry and ran 252 yards on them. What planet are you from again? They actually played the run well until they got worn down. It was their offense that was the problem but Iowas defense was pretty bad the first game as well

Here we go again. A rb will probably twist an ankle Saturday, as well.
Really, where is the LeGrand info coming from? Lucas is a senior, Keegan a soph so that may have something to do with it.
Scrap the Render bio. LeGrand is going to start. Only 280 (Render 306). Interesting move http://www.hawkeyesports.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=6077
That is VERY interesting. Render probably saw action in every game last year, LeGrand ZERO.
4 yards a carry isn't good. And like I said they did a lot better before they got worn down bc they were on the field so much. Most of the yards came from the QBUNI an FCS school averaged 4 yards per carry and ran 252 yards on them. What planet are you from again?
I'm guessing LeGrand has come a long ways or ISU is so bad they don't mind getting him some meaningful snaps.Maybe they are going to start Legrand at Center, and keep Welsh at RG
Actually, Ferentz to Right Tackle and everyone just shifts to the left. That's what I heard. So Welsh to C and Render RG?
Wow. Legrand starting is a surprise. Must have not felt comfortable with Welsh at center?

Iowa is ripe for a take down. Hawks not a top 10 team at this point by any stretch, based on last week. Plus it's way too easy to dismiss ISU based on a comedy of errors last week that probably won't be repeated. As someone else pointed out, we've seen this movie before. One disrespected team has nothing to lose and a lot to prove with their new coach. The other plays cautious ball, probably hasn't really found itself just yet, and is missing two key players. Hawks need to play a very clean game if they expect to win.

Or, maybe Iowa improves from last week, and shows some character in the process. We'll see.
David, the fact that they were worn by UNI probably doesn't say much for them. If UNI wore them down...4 yards a carry isn't good. And like I said they did a lot better before they got worn down bc they were on the field so much. Most of the yards came from the QB
