No idea where he studied, but his bar mitzvah took place in Israel, so his Hebrew probably used to be passable.

Those derps can't distinguish the difference between a student who graduated from a college and a defensive coordinator from one of the top programs in the country, whose head coach is regarded as one of the all-time greats in collegiate coaching - putting a blind eye to a man who set up a foundation to help troubled youth, then molested them.

I don't know about the sentences, but these are federal child porn charges and it sounds like he's pleading guilty. Every jpg could be a count in the case. You don't get to skip time to do PSAs for child porn just because you're Jared from Subway. (I'm assuming that he's pleading guilty).
It sounds like he is pleading to a conspiracy charge for covering up his friend's crimes. The friend who was arrested for child pornography earlier this year. My guess is conspiracy, testify against the friend and no or limited jail time.

That changes my thoughts on things a bit. And it makes a lot more sense for this be coming out so quickly from Jared from Subway. Way more sense than anyone offering to plea guilty to child porn charges in less than a month from a raid.
They even have some psychos over there saying Jerry is innocent. Culture problem runs very deep there.

But to the plea quickly...the one thing I've learned is the feds don't mess around. They get you, you're usually dead to rights and they end cases quickly.
Absolutely, they have to operate that way. That's one area where we still really do have fairly small government. Law enforcement is very local. Most who deal with the judicial system do so at the state level. The feds only interrupt when they're sure.
He'll probably have an extra 200+ pounds on his back every time he goes to the prison shower.

Looks pretty bad now. Definitely off to prison for at least five years. Dude should never get out, but the plea bargain saves the girls from having to testify.
