JBo was 24 of 26 from 3 last night

That was interesting and fun to watch. And on the 24 makes, every single one was NBN. A shooting machine couldn't do that. Very few guys could hit 24 of 26 FTs in practice, especially without one of the makes hitting the rim or rattling in. I think the kid can play. ;)

A few years ago, I went to Northwestern for a Hawkeye game. Peter Jok was warming up and talking to one of the student managers. I noticed that every shot hit nothin' but net. After a few minutes, I stared to count and saw another 2 dozen drop before a miss. Iowa has been blessed with some good three point shooters... and a few that are amazing. Hope JBo comes back strong. Like Peter Jok three pointers, a lot could fall into place next year.

Ok, back when Joe W. was in high school, I had heard that he had made an unbelievable string in a row. Afraid to say what I thought it was, but can anybody else throw a figure in there? I'm chicken sh!t for the backlash. :)

I saw Peter start at the left side of the baseline standing out of bounds, going up the left sideline, and making shot after shot, stepping to the right one step each time, and didn't miss until he got to about 5 feet from half court. He has the most effortless stroke I have ever seen.

I recall it being reported he made something like 88 or 90 out of 100 in some sort of 3 point shooting “contest”.

in 3 years, Roy Marble made a grand total of 26 three point shots.

JBo made 24 in a warm up session.

Roy Marble...2,116 (4 yrs: 1986-1989, 134 GP, .539 FG%,, 15.8 ppg; 26 three pt goals)

NOTE: the 3 point shot was officially introduced to all of college basketball for the 1986-87 season.

If Jordan worked on proper form and release he would have made all 26. :D

Great stuff!

If Iowa was completely healthy this year with JBo, they are challenging for a B1G championship and possible title. I hope everyone comes back next year with Nunge taking Kriener’s minutes and Connor at the point, JBo at the two, CJ at the three, Weizy at the four, and Garza at five. CJ and Joe T off the bench with the freshman all getting a redshirt. They could really make some noise next year too.

LG at the 5

Ulis at the 1
CJ at the 2
Perkins at the 3
Keegan M at the 4
Nunge at the 5
Ogundele will play as needed.

Patrick bad feeling he doesn't get medically cleared to play BB again [hoping I am wrong though]

CJ ain’t going to the bench

I think everyone is coming back. Think Joe T will start and J Bo will be B!G 6th man of the year, average about 13 PPG. Luka repeats as BTT PoY and Iowa finishes no worse than the Sweet 16.

Of course there's the curse and this could all fall apart but maybe the hand of fate will roll in our directions for a few seasons.

There is a video showing Tomi Taiwo shooting three pointers and she made a ton in a row just like Bohanon was doing. Now if they could replicate that in a game, I'm thinking they would set a new record or two.

I have an idea for the NCAA tourney! They should let Iowa use Bohannon just on offense, just let him hangout at the 3 point line, then allow Iowa to have 1 fulltime defender on the other end of the court so We have 5 on 5 on each end! Think the NCAA would allow it??????

That guard combo will play together at times but I doubt for long periods as it’s too small.
