I’ve known FBI agents and Secret Service guys and even a guy who flew Air Force Two (VP) regularly and AF One once or twice. Heck my late Mil was in Naval Intelligence in WWII. My recently retired (Naval officer) nephew had some involvement in upgrading internal at sea comms between ships just after 9/11.
I’ve never considered that as their being “outed”.
