About time. I bet he is thrilled he wasted all that money bashing rubio and indirectly helping trump.
It's difficult to continue when you're spending $3000, give or take a dollar, per vote.
Funny thing is the guy probably has more class than any of the candidates of both parties but he just wasn't electable. His parents thought he would have been the better of the 2 to be president but GW had more personality and was able to unite the base.
This leaves a lot out of the story. The story of the Bush family is far more complicated than this.

Jeb! had an enormous war chest. More than any other GOP candidate by far. Trump hasn't spent squat compared to Jeb. So maybe it's really not about money after all?

You're damn right, do you think the powers that be hinge their hopes on only one candidate? Money is power and that power is not at its most potent in the hands of elected officials.

Yeah, the "Trump is a bully and I'm a nice guy" bit did absolutely nothing for him.
That's one reason why these votes/elections/primaries are just big shows to give people the illusion that they have choice. You're not going to affect change by playing in a rigged game.
The biggest Rino in the race, by far, is the guy that won.

• Pro choice
• Supports aggressive use of imminent domain
• Supports gay marriage mandated by the courts
• Opposes free trade
• Has raised money for Bloomberg, Reid, Schumer, Pelosi and Clinton
• Personal friends with Bill and Hill. Daughter Ivanka is close friends with Chelsea Clinton. Most likely a Clinton campaign plant.

The list could go on. A much shorter list would be issues where he is actually conservative. Plus he is an asshole.
One of the more curious reasons listed for Bush's failure was his "Jeb!" logo. The national press acted like he didn't want to associate with his last name. However, the same Jeb! logo was used in his gubernatorial campaigns, when his last name would have been seen as an advantage.
The Bush name is done, at least for another generation. Now, if we could only get rid of the Clintons.
