Multiple anonymous sources have informed the Associated Press that President-elect Donald Trump will appoint Jenny McCarthy to be the next Deputy Secretary of Health and Human Services. Her nomination is subject to Senate confirmation.

If approved, McCarthy will report directly to Robert F. Kennedy Jr, who was recently nominated for Secretary of Health and Human Services, pending Senate confirmation. Her duties will include overseeing the development and approval of all HHS guidelines, as well as public health emergency preparedness and combating bio-terrorism.

The 52-year-old actress and former Playboy model has long been an outspoken critic of vaccines due to her belief that they cause autism.

Exactly. And that was the point of this experiment. TC posted a thread this morning where he jokingly said El Chapo had been appointed to lead the DEA. Which is obviously not true. I mean, come on, Guzman isn’t even a US citizen.

But I was curious to see if McCarthy is just believable enough to get some people to bite. The fact that we can’t automatically dismiss the idea as obviously false is a big problem.
