@JoeCStrib: Kill tells @KFAN1003 he won't recruit another QB from Minnesota after seeing what Leidner and family goes through in local fan scrutiny.

Kill is frustrated with Minnesota fans, obviously.

Fans are idiots. You give them a taste of winning and suddenly they are all experts and talent evaluators. If you find it necessary to ridicule a college kid because he doesn't play up to your expectations, it's time for you to step away from the game. That's my opinion anyway, feel free to disagree. I haven't found many people on this board reluctant to disagree with me. :)

Not that much different that what goes around here.

Just think if Rudock grew up in Iowa City. Ask Glen Worley how his time went during his career.

Yes,
Because all of the other football teams out there have bona fide saints playing for them.

To the best of my knowledge, none of them have stuffed leaves in a 4-year-old kid's mouth, beaten him bloody with a stick, and then claimed the victim role. But if they do, you can bet I won't be cheering for them. Hope that clears it up for ya.

Rafael Eubanks

Anyone know what Eubanks is doing nowadays? I remember when Iowa was recruiting him and it was getting near decision time, old Sid Hartman wrote in the Star&Trib that Eubanks would never get a job In Minneapolis ever again if he made the mistake of signing with Iowa.

QB play has been pretty bad but there are many problems offensively right now. Take your pick. It's disfunctional. The defense is as good as advertised. I say at least top 3 in the B1G. Not sure when the last time Minnesota held any opponent from crossing midfield once in a game. If Minnesota figures out the offense, and right now that's a big if, they will win the West.

I came across this 2014 BHGP article when browsing for info on Rafeal Eubanks.

I don't know how I missed this one - a lot of good insights into the Iowa program and the coaches from a former player. Good read IMO.

Anyway, I did not know that Eubanks was named to several 1st Tem All-American teams (Rivals, Scout, Sporting News) his redshirt freshman season. I knew he was gaining national recognition but I don't remember reading about these.

Shouldn't you be protesting at some Black Lives Matter event or out in front of a Dentist's office because he shot everybody's favorite pet lion 10,000 miles from home?
