He's too small to be effective in run support and too slow to cover anyone in the slot. Dalvin Cook and Latavius Murray are going to make him look foolish this weekend and Reiff is going to bury him if they are on the field at the same time. Time for the Outlaw to hang em up.

There used to be a thread like this before every game last season because Josey said the negativity fueled him to do better. So I'll take it as such.
I didn't know Michael Moore posted on this board.
Joseys Grandpa would read these forums and relay the negative stuff to joseys ears which he would then use as fuel to fend off the haters

The audacity of an ISU fan to even have an opinion about a player's NFL potential! The bottom line is that Iowa probably has more active Pro-Bowl alumni than ISU has in its pathetic history. Who was the last ISU linebacker to even do squat in the NFL? Besides getting arrested for theft.
AJ Klein has done well.
I've got some friends that are big Iowa state fans and they never said it but you could tell they believe Lanning was as good as Jewell.
Lanning did a good job but Jewell was so much better and they couldn't see it.
Lanning MIGHT be better than Jewel... at quarterback.
Your poor friends are ill. Immersed in a fever common to ISU fans. Homering for the superiority of a guy who had an empty shelf in his bedroom. Meanwhile, Jewell's bedroom shelf had things like national LB awards and a consensus All-American plaque on it.
Lost 2 starting OT last year and starting out this year the same. New tradition? Soon we will be starting freshman! Where is the leadership counsel during all of this?
