Jim Harbaugh interview with Chargers Monday

My guess is that Harbaugh stays at Michigan. He is just doing an ol' Captain Kirk trick to grease Michigan for more money.

Wonder if UM will have a new HC named before we have our OC...

Fwiw...I think his decision will be less about the money (though he won't be cheap) and how much control a NFL team is willing to give him over personnel issues. If a team is essentially willing to make him the equivalent of a "co-gm" he is gone.

People are giving ncaa waaayyy too much credit to expect them to do anything about results of investigation. Does everyone have memory lost over everything that has happened with college basketball and Kansas?

If he leaves it’s just about wanting success at a higher level. Money and job security is not at risk at Michigan.

I think Harblah is just doing this to gauge the reaction of Michigan. Similar to a few years ago when he interviewed with the Vikings and a handful of other teams.

Zero percent chance that psycho jumps to the NFL, because we can only have so many nice things in one offseason in terms of scumbag coaches f***ing off into the sunset.

They better because the players would all have 30 days to portal. So a new HC would need in place immediately to recruit those guys to stay.
Sherrone Moore will be the next HC...and the interesting thing is despite Michigan essentially losing it's entire starting OL, to the draft, it still is probably the deepest position on the team in terms of potential (when it comes to recruiting rankings it is)...Sherrone has been been the OL coach who recruited them all. They stayed despite having to wait their turn. The guy will almost certainly take over for him has been our TE coach the past few years and is a former Umich OL himself. So the position that has the most to raid is also the most secure.

It won't be the same. Only one Jimmy. Nobody has it as good as him.
