Jo Bo Joins Only 9 other FRESHMAN players in the History of College Basketball

First you said you did some research. Now you are back peddling saying that now you are just using common sense. I knew you would reply, once again, with nothing but a bunch of garbage and no links to back anything that you say up.

Is that what makes you a legend in your own mind? Because you post a bunch of garbage?

Once again, Mr Legend, the following statement is backed up with a source. How is that for using some common sense?

JoBo is on pace to reach at least 150 assists and 75 made three pointers. If he does so, he will join just 9 other players in the history of college basketball to do so.

Legend, how much you want for them there backs?

Kid is balls out tough as nails and has ice water running in his veins. So glad he's a hawk. Amazing year he is having.

I think our fans really appreciate Bohannon. I know I do. Some folks just over-read too much into some of our our comments. I think if you look at how the Iowa kids on our team have done over the years compared to the out-of-state kids, the Iowa kids do awfully well, and they mostly tend to stay and be loyal Hawkeyes. The grass is always greener if a kid plays in another state, and we do need to have many good out-of-state players, but don't underestimate the strength of our local basketball. Fran just needs to keep getting the top one or two kids from Iowa each and every year if he can.

From @iowahoops: Jordan (131) is 10 assists from becoming Iowa's single-season assists leader for a freshman (140 by Jeff Horner in 2003),

March 6 UPDATE:

JoBo is on pace to reach at least 150 assists and 75 made three pointers. If he does so (he has 141 assists, 73 made 3 point shots), he will join just 9 other FRESHMAN players in the history of college basketball to do so.

Currently JoBo has 141 assists (4th in the B1G) and 73 made 3 pointers for the year. There is only one other player in the history of Iowa basketball, regardless of class, who has reached 70+ three-pointers & 100+ assists in a season: Jeff Horner (he did it twice).

From @iowahoops and ‏@mbenson6: Iowa players with 70+ three-pointers & 100+ assists in a season all-time: Bohannon (2016-17) Horner (2004-05 & 2005-06)

NOT BAD FOR A FALL BACK RECRUIT!!!
These are all useless "facts" to the recruiting guru's on here that think Fran needs to get another PG. This JB kid just didnt get it done.

To the defense of everyone, they want someone who can drive and finish as well and create more. JoBo can create in the open court, but not as much in the 1/2 court though he did improve there as well.

Drive and finish is not a strength. But I have seen improvement.

BUT, when it comes to creating, his assist numbers are better than Horner's freshman numbers and rank as some of the best for a freshman in Div I history.

Players, like the posters on here, have to be perfect, i guess.

So does 90% of college basketball that doesn't have a guard that can do both. I would rather have a JB than a kid that all makes 3's and FTs at a high rate, runs the offense with high rate of assists, TOs per minutes played really low...than a kid with AND1 handles and can "finish" at the rim but that is it. Not many programs can find the complete PG because there are not many.

Jordan has had a great Freshman season and we are lucky to have him. Those wishing for a different point guard are wishing for fools gold. JBo is going to be the 2nd best PG Iowa has ever had. (Lester).

March 15 UPDATE:

JoBo now has 162 assists and 82 made 3 point shots

Compare those #s to these other 9:

This is a impressive list to be apart of.
The kid keeps getting better and better. He reminds me the most of Bryce Drew on this list.
