JoBo goes off for 40...

You get a chance to add a Bohannon to the roster, you'd better be thankful. Those kids can play. Great that the Hawkeyes finally figured that out.

None of his brothers ever hit 9 threes in a game. This kid is the very best of all the Bohannons and he is a HAWKEYE!!!!!

I've been Lobbying for JordanBo to get the IOWA offer since last Christmas. Doesn't take a
'Rocket surgeon' or even a brain scientist to figure out he can fill it up at next level, as his Bros did. OUT

Probably would have went to UNI if we didn't offer, and he would have been one of those kids we kicked ourselves for missing.

What is Jordan's game like this year? Catch and shoot, pick and pop, and how is he as a point guard with setting others up. Have not seen him.

Hawk fans are gonna love watching Jordan's offensive skills throughout his career. He is unmatched across the Midwest. He is and will be superior to our current senior guards. In the future he will help complete games that we in recent years have come up short in. Jordan's question will be whether he can defend at the big ten level. I believe he will put in the work to get his body prepared for that.

Not on ESPN. So it would appear that he is at least 6' tall, not under. Not that it makes much of a difference as he is reported to have range and a quick release.
Rivals (the site we are on) lists him at 6', listed height and actual height are 2 different things. I was listed as 6'2" in HS and I am just a shade over 6'

JOBO would not strike fear into your heart if you saw him walking down the street, let's be honest. But once you see what he can do with a basketball in his hands it is a different story. He may not pass the "eye test" but he can play ball, that's for sure.

John Stockton never "looked" that impressive, but broke down that myth on the court with his play.

Who gives a RIP how tall he is, really? Jordan can Flat out fill it up. And he's a good team player and nifty passer, as well. Seen too many 6'10" and above guys who have
NO business on a BB court, let along a Big10 one.

insert Woody joke here.

Good for you. Apples and oranges.
LOL, all I am saying is that listed height is usually inflated a bit.....I was just simply implying (and answering question about type of game he has) that he is probably not a pick and pop player being he is a PG and 6' tall. In which case he would be the ball handler and not a pick and pop player

Not sure what your point it.

ESPN, for all their anti Iowa bias, or perhaps antipathy is a better world, they have the largest and probably the most accurate recruiting service. Jordan Bo is a low four star-placing him in the top 120 nationally. That is always a great recruit for Iowa.

Always laugh at the John Stockton references. Stockton was very fast with the ball in his hands. Heard an interview with Magic back around the time Stockton broke Magic's assist record. Magic said Stockton was the fastest player dribbling the ball that he ever guarded. Same interview that Magic was asked about Isiah Thomas not breaking his record. Magic said, Isiah is a really good player but John is is a great player and a first ballot hall of famer. Also, Stockton had those orangutan arms and huge hands that you like to see in a player.

I'd be thrilled if any part of Jordan's game is reminiscent or evocative of John Stockman.

The way Gesell is playing and the way Sapp has be contributing, I'm not buying that Jordan will be superior. I'd be happy if he competes on the same level. I think Gesell is averaging over 20 in BIG play, had a double-double last night.
