Really bad news for Biden and his liberal party!

President Joe Biden's Government is attracting levels of confidence on a par with some of the lowest ever seen, according to a new poll released just in time for Independence Day.

The president hosting a series of celebratory events in Washington DC on Tuesday to mark the country's Fourth of July holiday.

But while the host puts on a smiling face, the mood inside the White House may be surprisingly low.

That is because a new bombshell poll has revealed Americans' confidence in their government has plunged to the lowest across all G-7 countries.

The new Gallup poll, released on Monday, showed that just 31 percent of American adults "have confidence".

Back in 2006, confidence was at 56 percent - the highest of all G7 nations.

But now, the US has plummeted to the bottom of the charts under Biden's leadership, with a staggering 69 percent of Americans saying they do not have confidence.

While Gallup notes Americans' confidence has declined sharply over the years, there was a six percent drop when Biden first assumed power, falling from 46 percent to 40 percent.

Support dropped again to 31 percent in 2022, matching the record-low levels of confidence seen in 2013, 2016 and 2018.

This could be a worrying sign for the Democratic president, who is running for a second term in office in 2024.

And it is not the first poll Biden has fared badly in the run-up to the presidential election.

In a recent survey from the Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research, just one in three adults said they approve of Biden's economic leadership.

The 34 percent figure is even lower than his overall 41 percent approval rating.

The poll of 1,220 adults was conducted June 22-26 using a sample drawn from NORC's probability-based AmeriSpeak Panel, which is designed to be representative of the US population.

Meanwhile, in a DailyMail.com/J.L. Partners poll conducted from June 12 to 15, 71 percent of those likely to vote in the presidential election believe the 80-year-old is too senior to be running the show from Washington D.C.

It was not just Republicans who held this view as even 49 percent of Democrats believe the right candidate should be younger.

Meanwhile, just 28 percent think he is "about the right age".

Biden is set to make a speech today commemorating the Independence Day holiday with a crowd of military families and caregivers at the White House.

An annual Independence Day concert will take place on the Capitol grounds in an event that will be televised to the nation.

Washington will also host its traditional parade along Constitution Avenue.

“Humiliating.” Don’t think you’ve used that one yet. You’re ruining our drinking game.

BTW - gonna be gold on this board when Biden is re-elected and your man-lover is behind bars.

There is a difference between confidence in “government” and confidence in the executive branch.

As a left leaning person, I don’t have much confidence in government, currently, but that is entirely due to a SCOTUS that seems to have lost its way and the republicans in the legislative branch that are actively undermining our democracy.

Republicans needs to be capitalized when you are referring to the political party.

Agree, Biden is a colossal failure and the polls show it. Who really cares about his "so called" accomplishments: (1) creation of 10 mil jobs; (2) Medicare negotiating drug prices with big pharma; (3) monthly insulin costs lowered to $34; (4) microchip manufacturing re-established in the US; (5) passage of a bipartisan infrastructure bill; (6) passage of the Postal Service Reform Act; (7) gun safety legislation establishing "red flag" laws and mental health research funding; (8) reauthorization of the Violence Against Women Act; (9) unification of NATO countries in their joint support of Ukraine in their war against the unprovoked aggression of Russia and thug leader Vladimir Putin . Nobody cares about Biden - we need Trump!
