West Virginia getting screwed by the refs. No home court advantage at all. Jones just full on pushed a guy in the back going up for a dunk and no call.
Worst announcers I've heard this year. Not even close.

Iowa State on the opposing jerseys brings out the worst in all of us.
Iowa State picks up 7 fouls in 3 1/2 minutes. Wow. Should be around 10.

I suppose it's happened before, but I do not recall seeing a team get to the 1-1 before the first media timeout of a half before.
I wish Joe would have stuck around. He definitely would have helped this team, and he is averaging double digit points coming off the bench. HIs defense would have been a big plus. He and Ulis paired up for some amazing pressure at times last season.

He's the go to guy at the end of this game. Up 1 with 10 seconds left. Joe going to the line fir 2 ft. Just made an amazing defensive play.

Joe was the hero tonight. Wonder if he sat because 2 foul jail after his tech.
He supposedly told Fran that he wanted 30 minutes and a locked in starting job for him to come back. Not sure how true that was, but it was parroted around this board quite a bit last spring. So not sure if 23 minutes and coming off the bench was exactly what he was looking for, but schematically I think Huggins was a match made in heaven for him. I hope he's happy either way and I'm glad that there doesn't seem to be any bad blood between him and the program.
He had the opportunity to grab the job at Iowa and didn’t do it. Damn, move on. I liked him a lot but he wasn’t a great shooter and turned the ball over a bit much. He would have been our starting pt guard this year but I’m not sure he’s any better than Ulis. He’s on the right team for himself right now. Happy for him.
I don't watch ISU BB. Besides Iowa, maybe 10 min all year. In the time I have seen, they never stop fouling on defense, reaching in and grabbing, almost like the Izzo approach that the zebras will get tired of calling fouls and look at a discrepancy if they pile up. Is that how they play, or have I just need seen enough?
probably had nothing to do with the West Virginia players who had fouled out.
Typical ISU game, particularly on the road where they don't get friendly-calls (e.g. 28 fouls at TT, 23 fouls at Ok St.)
I haven't seen that many fouls in a game for a long time. Jones fouled out and realistically could have fouled out twice. Definitely are overly aggressive, slapping, pushing, moving screens, plus flopping. Terrible to watch. I was only watching to see Joe T a little bit but got sucked in. I don't mind enjoying an isu loss once in awhile
