Did I read somewhere that Wieskamp had mono earlier this summer and lost about 15 lbs? I think I did. If so, it is remarkable to me he is still playing at such a premium level!!!

I think he said recently that he did not have mono.
it is nice to see Fran wrap up in-state recruits like this, unlike Dr Tom, Alford and Lick,who lost way too many to Roy Williams and Kansas/North Carolina =)

I would disagree that Tom Davis lost too many in-state recruits. Other than Raef LaFrentz, I can't think of one significant Iowa kid he lost out on. In fact, a lot of the grumbling about Dr. Tom in his latter years at Iowa was that he relied too heavily on Iowa kids and didn't reel in bigger fish.
