The Lakers/Celtics/Sixers/Pistons/Rockets/Blazers era was the best, IMO.
Today's basketball can be entertaining, but I've seen too many six step slam dunks or drives to the hoop. Why do they even dribble? And they make highlights. Shame.
Jordan screwed up everything. When the NBA was looking to move on from the greatest era of it's existence, they gave Jordan every advantage possible.
And he was good. Don't get me wrong. One of the best ever. Some would argue the best. Not me.
In my mind, he needed to feel the wrath of eating the floor on a couple of drives to the hoop that was a right of passage back in the previous 10 years. Superstars were not spared. If you had the ball, you might get punched.
And not in the groin, like Draymond had become an expert at.
