Yeah, I think he was a victim of the deemphasis of the fullback position in Lester’s offense.
Delayed loyalty to his brother? Why would he not just ask for release from his LOI? Or simply not sign it?

The bottom end of the hawkeye roster isn't full of big ten caliber players.
He’s a freshman that isn’t B1G ready. Not many are that have to be built in the weight room to prepare for the riggers on the body in long, hard seasons.
Someone also needs to tell him he still only gets 4 years of playing time (I think, maybe, I have no idea if there are even limits anymore).
To me it would make zero sense if he didn’t transfer to Central Michigan. He is leaving Iowa because his brother left. 🤷♂️
