Carver-Hawkeye's second straight sellout crowd of 15,400 was rocking Sunday. The players noticed.
“They were awesome,” fourth-year point guard Mike Gesell said. “That was probably the most energy Carver’s had since I’ve been here. They really brought it today. It’s fun to have that backing. It was a sweet atmosphere out there.”

It was fun seeing CJB cheering during one of the crowd shots. Hopefully it inspires even more students to attend. It doesn't get cooler than CJB.

BB program. Hawkeye fans need to take note and give them strong, strong
Support in all of the Hawkeye remaining, regular season games.

Agree. Also agree on the CJ comment above. Not sure why our student body can't fill out the student section for a top ten team. Sad really but outside of that the crowd was great.
We owe this current group of seniors a ton. They took a chance on Iowa when we were pretty bad and bought in to Fran's vision. I'm thrilled they came and grateful for the result.
