It not just Iowa fans it's people that have no accountability for what they say.

Connor is like the enforcer on a hockey team or the big brother you go get when stuff happens to the younger and smaller siblings by bullies. He doesn’t take crap from anyone and isn’t afraid to prove it either. I’d take him with me in a fight any day.

He’s a quiet leader on this team so shut up and enjoy the ride we have left this season because there is no promise Iowa will be this good next year or the year after. Hell, look at ISU and the train wreck of a program they are right now, and Iowa was once about that bad.

Haven't you seen how his elbows stick to faces, hands stick to crotches, arms seem to always stick to other player's arms? He is the definition of a glue guy. Just not the type Connor is.

Yes, when Iowa has 3 shooters going and the POY in the post, then glue is good. Connor just had 8 assists vs Nebraska in a blowout and it didn't matter he was 1-8 from field.. When Weezy goes down with injury and Fredrick is not making shots and JBO is only 3pt threat at 3/9, then you are wishing your glue starter could make some shots.

CMAC is good player, but the narrative that he is the glue holding this team together is a stretch. Keegan is also glue because if Fran hadn't recruited him, this team would have several more losses. Fredrick is glue because we lost most of the games he was out. JBO is glue because when he makes 3's, Iowa wins. Garza is glue because this team is average without him. JoeT is glue because he is only guy with elite quickness on the team that can disrupt an opponent. PMAC is glue because he is weezy's backup. Nunge was glue because he was he insurance policy against Garza foul trouble.
