Did he get time in the second half? I wasn't able to watch as closely as I would have liked but didn't see him when I was tuned in.

They didn't need his skillset at LB against Indiana.
I really like his speed to the ball and his pop. I know he was over amped in that first game, but he brings another level. Reminds me of Hitchens

He played some LB late. And those of you who are dismissing him, well, you may be making a big mistake. Amani may not play much LB the rest of this season, but he could be a huge factor next year.
wow - you the man! I really hope I'm wrong about Jones- but he runs stiff and has no court awareness and has no idea how to read the Offense. He just chases plays and has no make up speed. Nothing like Hitchens IMO. I see no NFL for Jones - and maybe very little time in college. Maybe some Special Teams sparingly.

OK - next time A Jones gets a chance I'll be sure to mention you. No reason to look backwards - we all know he lost the starting job and will have a hard time getting it back. We all saw why - and I hope he can be a serviceable ST guy. Best wishes to him - so you can save face.
Save face about what? Jones has played well when called upon and when needed. I’ve not felt the need to bash him every time his name is mentioned on this board like you. Not have felt the need to make crap up about his play either.

Do you remember Hitch’s junior season? He got benched a few times for being out of position and overly aggressive
He must have some talent as there was a reason why after summer and fall camp he was the starter. Sure he looked bad in the first game. He was too amped up. He has plenty of speed and hits as hard as anyone we have. Love the enthusiasm too. But there is a fine line between being jacked up and flying to the ball versus being too amped and losing his lane and assignment.
Lost the starting job after leading the team in tackles with a sack. Just because he isn’t the best option doesn’t mean he’s a bad one
