8. The football futures of two former Hawkeyes will begin in Japan.

Running back Jordan Canzeri and defensive back Sean Draper are on the roster of the Elecom Kobe Finies of the X League, the top professional football league in Japan.

The league, which has been around for 35 years, places a limit of four American players on the rosters of each of its teams.

Tremendous young man and representative of the U of I, so glad he got healthy and had a heckuva senior year! Still remember he had one of the best under the radar recruiting stories you'll ever see and his friend/mentor used to post on here.
