Any info on how interested the Hawks are on this Texas LB? His brother is already here, working his way up the depth chart. I know last year there was some reports we were interested. Rivals only lists us in terms of schools but does not list an offer yet. Course Rivals is not totally accurate as they do not list an Iowa football offer for Jordan Goodwin either and reports say he has both basketball and football offers from the Hawks.

Haven't heard anything new on Josh Jinning in a while. I'll see if I can get an update. Early on at least, Iowa only plans to take 1 LB in 2017 so they don't have many offers out there at the position.

Regarding Jordan Goodwin, I see Iowa offers listed for both football and basketball. He has a separate profile for each sport.

Goodwin as a offer as a TE in FB. the 6'8 TE that IA has also offered is looking hard at ISU. looks like Nebraska might be in 3rd place behind ISU and IA at this point. my prediction is he chooses ISU more and instant playing time might be key in this case, IA did sign 3 potential TE's in the 2016 class.

oh well just going by what I read on Scout that Allen really liked what the new ISU Coaches were doing,

not much difference between ISU and Nebraska though. also Coon will be the lone TE in this class, just don't see IA taking more than one since it will be a small class of 16-17 maybe 18 since Harris left.

but I do have one question How does Ott fit in with IA's scholarships as far as numbers go?

They offered Goodwin as a TE-according to him-based on what KF told him..They are bringing in another possible TE prospect from Chicago soon and they offered Allen...All of this has occurred after Coons verballed...

Josh Jinning got back to me and said Stephen F. Austin is the school showing him the most interest right now. No offers yet.
