Junior college punter Ty Nissen (6'0, 185) is walking on at Iowa. He is a Carroll, IA native and attended Iowa Western Community College. He's already joined the Hawkeyes and is in preseason camp.

Ty earned honorable mention All-American honors at Iowa Western, averaging 36.7 yards per punt as a sophomore. He is scheduled to graduate after this season.
