Bogus rankings, as usual, but I hope they stay the same until Iowa whips ISU and then settles things with the Badgers. Nothing like wins over #22 and #3 in your first four games to get things rollin'.
Wisconsin should be a top 5 team in most polls by the time they come to Kinnick

Can you imagine if its a night game? ABC/ESPN will want that game, trust me :)

Possible Gameday at IC for Wisky? The "night game against Top 10" brand is strong of late for us.

That’s certainly possible, don’t know what the other matchups are that week.

I don’t know if Nebraska in year one of frost leaps Nebraska/Michigan over Iowa/Wisconsin.

I think a #3 ranking for Wisconsin is being awfully generous. It's offense will be tough ... but D has lots of holes to fill ... I'm okay with ISU being ranked. If you objectively watched any of their games they are well coached and will continue to get better recruits. And being ranked will be all the more enjoyable when we beat them in September.

ISU is extremely overated but that being said is great for Iowa. The loss of key WR's and defensive players sees Iowa winning by 14. WI is also overated and should be in the late teens 17-19 area. Defence is a rebuild.
LINE: Iowa runs and passes up ISU. Iowa catches a young WI defense early in the season and wins by 7.

I agree with this. I think we beat ISU by 14 & Wis by 6-10 points.

I could see Mich/Neb leapfrogging Ia/Wisc if all teams are undefeated. Mich and Neb are still considered national blue bloods on the edge of slipping off, have nationally known former QB’s as head coaches, and this will be a must win for Harbaugh to stay off the hot seat. The media will love the “story” for this game. All about ratings. Just my opinion.

I bet that you know almost nothing about what ISU has returning. The ISU 2nd and 3rd team wrs were most likely better than Iowa's starting wr group last year.

Wow! With all that WR talent and ISU still lost? Campbell must be a terrible coach.

2nd game in 2nd season and it went to OT. I am looking forward to the game in Iowa City this year.
Iowa was breaking in a new QB, new DBs, new WRs, new TEs, and I want to say both freshman OTs played major minutes. And need I mention it was a road game against a team that circles this game the moment December or January hits. Needless to say, I am also very excited about this game.

Wisconsin at number 3 is ridiculous.... and as someone else stated in this post they lost basically their entire defense besides some obvious studs with Van Ginkle and a few good LB’s .... their offense is going to be EXTREMELY EXPLOSIVE..don’t get me wrong but by mid season they will be working on all cylinders and a team to be reckoned with as usual.. however under the lights at Kinnick I like Iowa by 10, maybe 14

Interesting to see Florida Atlantic at 17. I read an article a while back about them being an up and coming team simply because of their location for recruiting. Now that Kiffin is there it looks like he's adding some serious talent. Kind of like UCF last year... If they could just move UNL to Florida!
