Q: How was your visit to Iowa for junior day?
BRINKMAN: “The whole trip was
pretty amazing. We had a chance to go to the Iowa-Northwestern basketball game
and the crowd was awesome and really into it. They played really well and you
got to see what the Iowa fans are about.”

Q: What did you get a chance to
do while on campus?
BRINKMAN: “We first went and met with a bunch of the
coaches. Then we watched a highlight video and went to the game. After the game,
we came back and had lunch. Then we went on a tour of the facilities. We saw
their new facilities and they are incredible. We talked to more of the coaches
and that was it.”

Q: What was your favorite part of the trip?

BRINKMAN: “It is tough to say but my favorite part was getting to see the
coaches. You could really tell how much they enjoy coaching.”

Q: Did they
update you on your status as a recruit?
BRINKMAN: “No, we didn’t get into
that.”

Q: Which coaches did you talk to and what did they say?

BRINKMAN: “I got to talk to Coach Morgan who is my recruiting coach and Coach
Woods who is my position coach. We talked about their spring practice schedule
and how they are getting ready for spring ball.”

Q: Are you going back
down?
BRINKMAN: “Yeah, they want to get me back down this spring for a
practice.”

Q: How do you feel about Iowa overall?
BRINKMAN: “They are
definitely heading in the right direction. You can definitely see how their
facilities will help make them a better team. They said that we’ll make you Big
10 ready in the weight room and their weight room was fantastic. Seeing it all
with the locker rooms and the training room was breath taking. I was honored to
go up for the junior day.”

Q: What schools are you hearing from most
recruiting wise?
BRINKMAN: “I went to Minnesota, Iowa State, and Iowa State.
I’ve also had interest from North Dakota State, South Dakota State, and South
Dakota. There has also been a little bit from Missouri.”

Q: What camps
are you doing this summer?
BRINKMAN: “I have no idea yet. I’ll have to look
that up because summer is coming up on me.”
