Here’s a write up I did for him a few months ago…

Connor Fiser of Bondurant-Farrar HS ‘24

Connor Fiser is a Junior in HS out of Bondurant-Farrar HS in Iowa. Connor placed 5th at the Iowa HS State Wrestling Tournament at 3A 113 in 2022. He finished the year with 5 losses to Iowan wrestlers, but most, if not all of these were to #2 in 3A, Blake Gioimo and #3 in 3A, Bowen Downey of Indianola HS. However, he did have one head-scratcher loss at state in 2022. He lost to the 4th placer, Max Bishop of Fort Dodge. Connor Fiser had great wins in 2021-2022 over a lot of guys from other classes who placed higher than he did at state. He defeated 2A runner-up, Carter Anderson of Albia, 2A #3, Carson Doolittle of Webster City, #5 in 2A, Vincent Mayberry of Glenwood HS, etc. He’s also had a great offseason. Connor several freestyle/Greco tourneys and placed 2nd at Greco and 3rd at Freestyle State this past summer. He was also a Freestyle State Champ in 2021.

Connor has been good for a long time. He placed real high at AAU State and placed as high as 3rd at AAU State at the JH level a few short years ago. Kid is legit. Watch for him to put together a great season in 2022-2023!
