I might be just petty but on the spot of the punt that went out of bounds in the second quarter. I just watched the replay and find it mind boggling how the referee could of come to his conclusion.
1) The ball landed out of bounds approximately 15 feet left of the sideline.
2) The ball landed laterally to the equivalent of the 9 yard line.
3) The ball was spotted at the 11 yard line.
I am not a mathematician but in order for that to happen the ball would have to literally be in the air inbounds to the 11 yard line and head sideways at a 160 degree angle and land laterally to the 9 yard line.
The correct call is the ball is spotted at the trajectory point where it went out of bounds . This probably occurred closer to the 17-20 yard line
And a sideline warning to the Iowa bench and no such warning on the Ohio bench when Meyers is continually out onto the field and at one point on the field during an active play
Really? .
