just didn't bring the emotion today

No emotion, speed, and they can't keep there feet. Everyone is falling all over the place. Jesus, its like the last time they were in Pasadena

Yeah I'm not blaming this on the big west or Greg davis. This is a total team meltdown. I got a little worried in the bcc when we went ultraconservative. I had hoped #OldKirk was buried

What pisses me off is they are still sticking to the game plan. Throw the damn plan in the trash and get a little creative!!

Agree. WTF is with shuffling the OL for game 14?

I guess we had to change the OL to match our completely revamped offensive philosophy that we suddenly broke out today. Why run the ball over and over again against a poor rushing defense when you can suddenly try a cute short passing offense complete with a pick-6? This might be the worst prepared team I've seen for any sporting event at any time ever.

Will you be laughing when your last 4 seasons are vacated due to recruiting violations.

LMAO! Yes I will still be laughing at your team. Not your fault you were so overrated. You will get over it. Don't need recruiting violations when you have the most successful college football coach. Kids just want to play for a guy like that. Are you going to sign Kirk to an extension?

The Buckeye's lose a lot next season. Hawkeyes will again have a better conference record than O$U.

I am not sure what is worse.... Getting blown in the Rose or returning a national championship team and not making the playoffs allowing Nick Satan to take your title?

Had a lot of bigger problems than "emotion"

Possibly. But I rewatched the game cuz I wanted an excuse to shoot my TV. Stanford was yapping, bouncing around and hyper-active from the get-go. Iowa had its emotions under control. In fact too much so. I don't know if Kirk told them to tone it down or what, but the home-town team was up for this game and Iowa didn't seem to be by comparison. I stole a quote from another thread and you can read it below.

. . . All of a sudden the MSU game happened and everyone was telling them they were wrong, how good they were for 4 weeks before the Rose Bowl. There was no energy on the field in Pasadena from Iowa and certainly were not ready to play a football game, that is for sure.
