Just got back from L.A.

I’m not calling you a liar, but there is nowhere in the US with worse traffic than LA. Not even close imo. Good on you though if it wasn’t a bother.
LA can be bad, especially trying to get on/off freeways. Going into LAX for an early flight can put you on edge, as you already know inside the airport will be jammed up lines. I have had pretty good success most times there, including the beautiful run up the 101.

Trying to get to and fro around Chicago can be mind numbing, but in recent years there have been road improvements. The Northern Indiana approach however… SMFH.

Atlanta extends its tentacles far and wide and has bad potential often. Those jam ups can extend to wasted hours. We tend to steer clear when possible.

South Florida on the 95 is dangerous AF. There are too many drivers down there with death wishes.

Houston… my God, how many lanes can you pave and still how stopped traffic. Bingo. The answer is infinity.

DC is hemmed in by the river and has the entire East coast trying to get thru or around it. Those circles and streets that stop in one direction, only to resume two blocks over can test your sense of direction and patience. Not to mention the whole NE, NE… quadrant system.

Manhattan is not so bad, as long as you correctly guess the side streets, as North/South avenues will mostly move. Getting into, thru, or out can be a very different story. Ooof. Up the 95 from there… I feel for you.

Boston. OMG, that place is another one with an element of crazy drivers. Getting past there on the 495 gives you a real picture into humanity at times.

Truth is, on a given day any big city can be easily driven or a total disaster.
