This alone will forever be etched in my mind when I think Spartan football against Iowa. I'm still can't believe that game. Carry on.A MSU player already faked an injury

yeah i would love to see any SEC team travel north in November. It should be a home and home...none of this neutral field stuff in SEC country. BIG team should play at SEC school in September when its hot and play at BIG school in November. But I won't hold my breath waiting for it to happen. MSU had a home/away scheduled with Bama in 2016-17, but the Tide cancelled it. Mama have since added USC in 2016 (in Texas) and FSU in 2017 (in Georgia).I would like to see a good SEC team on the schedule, preferably for a late November game in Iowa City.
Well you have an opening in your schedule for another non-conf opponent starting in 2019. What type of an opponent would you like to see Iowa schedule? A perennial top 10 team...top 25 team, middle of the pack P5 team or slightly above cupcake?
Cook is a very good QB, but I am more scared of the running guys like Barrett. We should go after Cook hard. Beathard is a better runner than he is.
We don't go after anybody "hard."
How much Iowa football do you even watch?
Also, Cook's stats are actually better when he's under pressure than when he's not.
We don't blitz a whole lot, I wish we did a bit more. If we can get some sort of rush on Cook from the front 4, that would be great.
Well, then this might be a good time to do it. They won't be looking for us to blitz. There should be no fear of Cook getting away and running.
JFC, you realize that there are other potential issues with the blitz, right, especially against an extremely accurate senior QB?
hawkinator...you make a nice point. I don't know why he does that but he actually plays better when the games are nasty close and the defense is flying all over the field. When he makes mistakes....and he makes them....they tend to come early in the game.We don't go after anybody "hard."
