I think we all know the answer to that. Thank you for the opportunity... gonna continue to follow my dreams... He pretty much lays it out there for us.@Adam Jacobi what everyone is asking is if this means he is leaving the team. Do you know?
agreed he is gone soonI think we all know the answer to that. Thank you for the opportunity... gonna continue to follow my dreams... He pretty much lays it out there for us.
2023 stats 22 catches for 215 yards and 1 TD. 54 yards rushingWow. How will Hawkeye football ever recover from losing this overrated WR? I think he dropped two passes and caught one. But I could be wrong. Either way, it's gonna be tough to replace that kind of production.
At IOWA, it may be. 😉Wow. How will Hawkeye football ever recover from losing this overrated WR? I think he dropped two passes and caught one. But I could be wrong. Either way, it's gonna be tough to replace that kind of production.
Or……In the immortal words of Hawk Harrelson,
He gone.
(no info or inside news, just think the writing is on the wall)
I’ve thought about this as well. You could do what Dabo is doing and reposition yourself as the school that won’t recruit over you with portal players. Might get a slightly higher caliber HS recruit but then you’re at the mercy of young adults staying loyal.Maybe KF - and SWARM - should just stay out of the portal, in terms of trying to get offensive players here that could provide a potential impact.
Been much more of a failure than a success so far. Not only because the players have failed to produce in the ultra-conservative system KF values, but also because Ferentz refuses to put them in positions to make the most impact on games/season. Or even worse, keeps playing someone when its a huge detriment to success.
I like your notion, however it doesn’t give the program much wiggle room. What if the promised players underperform? Compliance, rules, disciplinary issues?I’ve thought about this as well. I wish Kaleb and Leshun well but this new phenomenon of announcing a redshirt and quitting on the team mid season is bs, like so much that is going on in Division 1 college football and basketball. He is gone and I hope he finds a role and happiness elsewhere. I think this opens up the possibility of some of the younger WR to get an opportunity to sprinkle in a few plays. I am thinking Alex Mota for example, or maybe we see Washington get more reps.
Inside info?Good luck to Brown and Williams.
More players will be transferring out.
Agreed definitely can handcuff yourself with underperformance. I think you can easily explain the compliance/disciplinary caveats to recruits and they’d understand that.I like your notion, however it doesn’t give the program much wiggle room. Can’t handcuff yourself to promises you may certainly need to break.
I would sure expect some not sniffing the field to do so. Happens at every program.Good luck to Brown and Williams.

And Brown is the guy that had the OWI and car accident like the week or two before the season started, like right during camp. How serious are you about football if you are doing that.Brown could be a return guy, but how else could he help the team if he’s not able to run the routes correctly? Lester said during the bye week that he needed to work on route running.
