I thought the same thing. They played better as a unit when he subbed in at center due to injury.Always seemed like the OL clicked a little better when Elsbury was in.
Sounds like we may have underutilized him.

I will he happy for KJ if he goes first round but I will be shocked. He will be a good pro regardless.

Agree with these. Elsbury seemed to play better than whomever he was replacing (Jones, Stephens usually). Not saying he was necessarily better than those two overall, but with the OL struggles we dealt with for years it seems like we could have used him more than we did....I thought the same thing. Good work on these my friend. As a beleaguered Viking fan we need help at BOTH interior OL and RB - love to land one of our own.
Really?I guess I never understood this. Anyone could see that we always improved when Elsbury played instead of Logan Jones. It wasn't close. I keep seeing coaches sing the praise of Jones and I keep wondering (and now seem to have NFL scouts agreeing) how Jones EVER played ahead of Elsbury. I just hope we finally get to see some version of the Logan Jones the coaches all claim we have. I haven't seen it up till now.
RB's aren't a dime a dozen, the NFL offenses are changing back to run oriented schemes. We spread you out 4 wide and you bring in smallish DB's, we're going to pound the rock. Look at the last 8 teams left in the playoffs, all very capable of smashing you, with the exception of (maybe) WAS. All with relatively mobile QB's. Times are a changing, I could see KJ going in the 1st.Running backs are a dime a dozen in the NFL. I would be surprised if KJ went in the first round. I see him maybe a late 2nd but more likely a 3rd round pick.
Every time he played he looked better than the guy he was replacing. Not a talent evaluator but he moved people vs getting moved.Always seemed like the OL clicked a little better when Elsbury was in.
