Stay. Can get a nice payday from Swarm, and this offense could turn into something pretty good if Lester’s passing concepts come around in the offseason.

Would love to see him stay but he has to go. Anything SWARM could pay him would pale in comparison to his NFL contract. His stock is unlikely to be any higher after next season. He has been a GREAT Hawk. He owes Iowa nothing. Go make a comfortable living for yourself and your family, young man.

Agreed. Plus the chance of getting a significant injury if he stays another year, damaging his potential in the NFL. Strike while the iron’s hot. Get paid.

Would love for him to come back but he’s hot now after a great year. Should take the money and go to the next level.

Are you kidding ... KJ isn't returning to this disaster. Lucky he wasn't injured last night 21 carries 36 yds or whatever. He isn't coming back to play for this mess, no qb, no skilled talent, no Oline, no D. Talking 2-10 type chance.

He likely has been told he needs to show he can power thru at the line.

Currently not an everydown back. He can get paid nicely at Iowa. Likely though he is gone. UCLA AND NEBBER showed his weaknesses.
There are not a lot of every down backs in the NFL. Most teams share the position.

If he has an OLIne in the pros that can give him a hole then he can get through the line. And most importantly if he is on a pro team that can pass the ball there wont be many overloaded boxes against him. It is a combination of factors

He doesnt move the pile. As is he is a lot like Cooper heading in which left money on the table. Better lines..yes and better defenders. He ll go but with ? marks. He struggles when turned to the out side which is another ?

Late 2nd or 3rd round at best.

Spot on.
For those thinking he will be a high draft pick they better think again.

most NFL backs don't move the pile, hell I would say they let the play develop in front of them and are shifty. A healthy nick Chubb was much more productive than the power runner Kareem Hunt was.

The Swarm doesn't have that kind of money.

This isn't Ohio State.

Of course he’s going to go. Be serious. He’s the 2nd best back in the draft and we also hardly used him catching the ball which he can also do. Now running backs aren’t used like the old days so yes, he’ll probably be a 2nd or 3rd round pick. So what? It’s still life changing money.

Okay. I think most of us just assumed he was going after the year he's had and the mileage thing with RB's. Him coming back would just be a bonus at this point...

Most running backs dont get drafted very high anymore because there are so many good ones, dont have to pay them first round money for 3-4 years but just replace them when they get worn out.

I would love for us to have a successful running back in the NFL. We get a lot of talk for our TEs, and a bit less for our OL and defenders. I was hoping Greene could be a great back that gets lots of highlights, but that never panned out like many of us thought.

Gonna need about a dozen sarcasm emojis.
I find it interesting when people try & encourage our players at a developmental program, like Iowa’s, to leave.

Shouldn’t you be promoting Iowa as a place you’d like players to stay at as long as they have eligibility - not to mention if they are key contributors?
