Just read an article in Hawk Central. Really good article. The men's team doesn't have anyone like her. She is super competitive, yet always smiling and encouraging teammates.
One of coaches said she will go off for 30 against a good team, but against weak teams she tries to set up others. One game (I think HS) against a weak team she worked very hard to get a teammate that didn't play much her only basket of the year.
Men's team has fiery guys like her, but none that are so upbeat and happy. The article had a video of her miked up during a practice - kind of interesting. There were at least 3 men on the opponent team - also interesting.

Bluder's teams have practiced against men (UI students) for years. Gets the girls used to competing against big, tall, and fast players. I know some high school teams do this as well.

Vivian did the same thing...but she put some limits on the guys....the main one I recall was they couldn't leave their feet to block shots or rebound.

CJ is similar - competitive, always looking for teammates, but deadly as a shooter, too.
