I know people are more upset about Iowa ultimately losing this game, but I don't think Keegan is getting enough credit for IMO one of the best plays to send a game into Overtime in Iowa History, or anywhere for that matter. It would be a great play no matter when it happened, but the timing made it incredible.

He knows time is running out and a shot is going up and he goes in there full bore to the rim with Lundy hanging on him, and times it while spinning in mid air with his momentum going away from the basket and gently tips it in before the time runs out. Damn shame that effort was wasted, but that play was over the top OUTSTANDING!

Talk about coming thru when it matters. Wow. Great job young man.

I assume ESPN has their Top Ten plays of the day or whatever, but I can't fathom how that wouldn't be #1 with a bullet, even with the eventual loss.

JBO seems to me to be out of sync this year in assuming a different roll.
Seems he is not focused like he was in previous yrs being the point.
When he does take a shot, it is not with the determination and focus he has had in previous yrs.

Tremendous hustle. It shows he hasn't given up on the season. Had some luck involved as if the ball hit the rim he wouldn't have been able to tip it in. But he could have just stood and watched the shot, but he didn't. Busted to the hoop, made a great play. Too bad Iowa didn't win it in the first OT, the play of Murray at the end of regulation would be even more fondly remembered. In the last minute, he nails a 3, blocks a shot, tips in the tying shot at the buzzer. No big deal. LOL.

Serious question - what is JBo's role this year? Or what is it supposed to be?

Great play by Keegan, better outcome is a swish and not to shoot an airball

The PSU 3 even if the guy traveled was pretty tough/clutch...If they don't call it, it is not a travel.
Loss is a loss.

Keegan seemed to be totally out of sync until about the end of the game. Kris too. PSU gets some credit, but it seemed to be more than that. They both have tremendous physical skills that they can continue to refine and make much more consistent. They have a good instructor at home to make that happen, and maybe there is some hope that we can see Keegan in an Iowa uniform next year. When Keegan just reacts and shoots, he makes some unbelievable shots. The 3s toward the end of the game are great examples.

Agree 100% on Keegan. Too bad the rest of the team is as soft as the cones in CHA. He bails their asses out and they waste it. No emotion from anybody last night, which is a trademark of Fran teams minus Garza. Where is this chip on the shoulder Jbo is always running his mouth about? Same with the great chemistry. A team with a chip on their shoulders and great chemistry wins that game. Stellar 6th year leadership by Jbo.
