Dolph called into Sound off and said Ott might have a chance for a medical red shirt because it goes 6 games or % 20 of the season, which ever is greater. Not a guarantee, but a shot if he wants to come back.

I'm not sure coming back makes any sense if he desires to make a living playing football. i feel terrible for Drew, he was poised to have a great senior year. players tear acl' all the time and recover...while this certainly hurts his draft stock, some team is going to get a steal with ott much later in the draft than expected.
