Kemerer is starting to look like a heavier version of McDonough

Not much setup to his offense, but he gets to the legs and when he does he finishes. Still not sure he is enough for the "whirlwind" Nolf, but I would definitely like to see them wrestle again. Don't think anyone else at 157 is at his level and I think highly of Hidlay after beating Lavallee but those 2 are a step behind in my opinion.

Hidlay is going to give Mike as much as he can deal with.
Neither kid is going to slow Jason much.
It is Nolf in his own league with Kemerer and Hidlay in a grouping by themselves in the next step down.

Not going to come out and say he is beating Nolf but I'd put a lot of money on significantly closing the gap. We will find out soon enough.

It looks to me like he sets up his shots by circling and attacking as the guy steps. He is quick but not lightning fast. There has to be a set up somewhere. Regardless, he is a "blast " to watch wrestle.

Kemerer does a lot of things that most guys can't do, and he does it naturally from the looks of things. Not like he's never lost a scramble before, but he always seems to know "where he is and where his opponent is". You think he's going left because that's what everyone else would do, and he goes right. He's fun to watch for sure. I don't think he's causing Nolf any sleepless nights, but I like what he does for us regardless.

Kem does make it look natural and has incredible mat awareness. I agree MSU, he does have some similarities to McD. He seems to reach for a leg, be stretched out at times but still pulls it in and get a TD. Fun to watch.

Are you some kind of rookie or something? No one says the F word over here. He is a Blast to watch is correct HR terminology. Try not to let it happen again. :)

I think Kemerer has a really high wrestling IQ. His positional awareness is very sound and he seems like he's always going for bonus even when someone doesn't want to engage with him, which I appreciate as a fan. I feel like I've never heard the "yeah, but the other guy was stalling excuse" with him because he just finds a way to score points.

As for the matchup with Nolf, if I had to guess today I'd say he loses something like 6-3. Better than last year, but not quite upset ready.
