Kennedy Confirmed

"It's a scourge that has afflicted mankind for more than a thousand years. And it's what keeps Adam Ratner up at night: measles.
"It is the most infectious disease that we know by far — much more infectious than flu, much more infectious than COVID or polio or Ebola or anything else that I can think of," says Ratner, a pediatric infectious disease physician in New York City.
In his new book, Booster Shots, Ratner makes the case that the control of measles is a test of how good our public health institutions are. And the fact that it is making a comeback is a bad sign."

Our current measles problems are mostly to be blamed on democrat immigration policies.

The current ceo of npr has said "truth is a distraction". Great source.

Your factoring in the brain worm, right?
You factoring in the dude who thinks he's a chick with a dick? He's also a fat slob btw.
Policy wise? Or just bigot wise? Or are you a brain worm?
Weren't you the one saying its not acceptable to joke about/punch down on people with disabilities just yesterday? Piss off with your hypocrisy 😂

You're right, that would be way funnier if he was making fun of someone with a disability.

ok, so accepting that premise (and assuming for the sake of argument that Scruddy's premise that it's derivative of immigration policy is erroneous), the important question is, "why?"

I think the answer comes down to a simple phrase: "public trust". Some of the degradation in public trust in public institutions is unavoidably symptomatic of broader societal trends, some of it's probably self-inflicted as a result of the myopic mindset of the authorities during covid that didn't balance competing interests that well, and some of it's also symptomatic of an industry-regulator mindset that's urging more and more vaccines, which are usually perfectly good products, but for somewhat less and less risk-probable events that would rise to public health crises.

If I were going to do one thing to try to rebuild public trust, now, it would be to retrench to the basics and focus on products with real public health (as opposed to individual health) implications, and take a really hard look at new and recent AHIP recommended vaccine proposals.

It's not just my assertion, it's the official stance of the democrat apointed health commissioner of new york city lol

I wasn't making fun of him for having brain worms. I was asking if you were one, looking for an easy meal.

LMAO at "Brain Worms" as disabilities. No person in history went to Harvard less than you did.

The two are tied at the hip according to dem health officials in NYC is all I'm saying
TBC, it's certainly not crazy, and indeed, many of the earliest public health initiatives of the country arose out of the urban immigrant community concentrations in cities, though I don't really think today's environment is quite the same.

How many of the 10s of millions of immigrants that came into the country over the last 4 years were fully and properly vaccinated? Any chance that may be fueling outbreaks?

There is actually a program that provides vaccinations for those people. But, I bet that will be going away soon.

Good. What's participation rates and typical timing of getting illegals vaxxed? It's just comical to pretend vax hesitancy by a small percentage of Americans is going to fuel some horrific disease outbreak when we had millions of low vax rate populations pouring in.

A country of 300+ million that hasn't had a 'measles death' in ten years doesn't have a measles problem, it has a Chicken Little problem.

No I think Bonespurs is lying about pretty much everything he can to make himself look better. He's done it forever, we both know that. The world knows it. It's why nobody believes about anything he says anymore
But he didn't say it, DHS did?

You mean the guy with the boss that just got let off the hook because of his backroom deal with Trump?
2 years ago, the health commissioner of nyc said migrants weren't vaccinated for polio at the same rate as americans

in scruddy's world, this means he said that migrants are responsible for every bad thing that has happened in nyc since
